To focus on my current clients, queries and query-related questions sent through the form below will be deleted unread. If you have an offer of representation for a query that’s still under consideration, please do contact me through QueryManager.

Want to connect?

Publishers, Editors and Art Directors:

If you are interested in working with one of my clients on a project, please contact me through my BookEnds email address.

If you are interested in working with me as an author, please connect via the form at the right or email my agent, Naomi Davis at BookEnds Literary.

Authors and Illustrators Interested in Representation:

To query me, please check out all the information on the Submit to Tracy tab, where you’ll find a link to my query form and a list of what I’m looking for at the moment. Unfortunately, I don’t have the bandwidth to respond to queries sent via email or through this form, but I do respond to every submission sent through QueryManager. Any queries or query-related inquiries sent through this form or through email will be deleted unread. For more information, please see the Submissions page on the BookEnds website.

To be fair to my current clients and with query response times in mind, I am closed to queries over the holidays (November through January) and the summer (June through August).

Looking for recently announced deals?

Click to search Publisher’s Weekly for my recently announced books in their Deal Reports. (No subscription required.)

See additional deals (including non-US deals and upcoming sequels) by searching on Publisher’s Marketplace and/or checking my Publisher’s Marketplace member page. (Subscription required.)

For School and Library Author Visits:

I am happy to speak (virtually) to your school or library!

My presentation, Inventing a Picture Book: How I Used the Stages of Invention to Write Princesses Can Fix It! can be modified for children or adults, and discusses the book making process, where I came up with the idea for Princesses, and how writing and publishing a picture book follows the six steps of invention.

Please use the contact form at the right to get in touch, and include the intended audience, audience size, and desired length of presentation so I can do my best to give a fair quote.

Other business inquiries?

Please use the form above for non-query related business inquiries and I’ll do my best to answer.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the bandwidth to give individual advice about writing and publishing, but you can check out an archive of my writing advice and industry thoughts.

Are you still on social media?

No, I’m not actively participating on any personal social media at this time.

What about your newsletter?

In order to be fair to my other priorities (and because being unable to keep a regular newsletter schedule alongside the other priorities was stressing me out!), I have decided to stop publishing The Quacktory.

An archive of articles from the newsletter and blog is slowly being updated here at Publishing Thoughts & Writing Advice.
